Two More Parramatta Eels Players Linked to Potential Early Exit Amid Rebuild Under Jason Ryles
Two additional Parramatta Eels players are reportedly considering an early departure from the club as they prepare for a rebuild under incoming coach Jason Ryles. Set to replace interim coach Trent Barrett next season, Ryles aims to lead the Eels to the finals for the first time since their 2022 Grand Final appearance against the Penrith Panthers.
Fox Sports reports suggest that the Eels are looking to offload Maika Sivo and Reagan Campbell-Gillard before their contracts end, although no decisions have been finalized. Sivo, contracted until the end of 2027 (with mutual and club options for 2026), has been linked with an exit as early as May after being relegated to the NSW Cup. Earning approximately $550,000 per season, Sivo was made available to the Super League earlier this year, with the Eels reportedly willing to cover a significant portion of his salary, according to League Express.
