In a heartfelt statement today, Parramatta Eels Assistant Head Coach Trent Barrett addressed his departure from the club, expressing gratitude for his time and experience with the team.

“After careful consideration and discussions with the club, I have made the difficult decision to step down from my role as Assistant Head Coach of the Parramatta Eels,” Barrett stated.

Barrett, who joined the Eels coaching staff [duration if available], highlighted his appreciation for the opportunity to contribute to the club’s success. “It has been an honor to be part of such a storied organization,” he added.

The assistant coach emphasized his respect and admiration for the Eels players, coaching staff, and management, acknowledging their professionalism and dedication throughout his tenure.

The Parramatta Eels have yet to announce a successor for the role vacated by Trent Barrett.
