Adam Idah performed admirably for Brendan Rodger’s team on his season-long loan from Norwich City to Celtic. With eight goals in 15 games, the 23-year-old’s success is understandable, and Celtic has been trying to hold him around for the upcoming campaign and beyond.
But Celtic isn’t the only team interested in the forward; Hellas Verona has also expressed interest, according to numerous Italian media.
Idah caught the attention of the Serie A team, who finished in the middle of the league the previous season, since they had been searching for a forward for some time.
Although the club hasn’t “lost sight” of the Norwich City star, Corriere di Verona now notes that he is no longer their top target to sign.
Rather, they would prefer to get Robert Bozenik from Boavista; the Portuguese team is rumored to be asking for about €6 million for their star. Since January, Verona has shown interest in both Bozenik and Idah, but they have chosen the latter.
This gives Celtic a clearer path to reach a new agreement with Norwich City.
