**Damian Lillard Reflects on Intimidating Warriors Playoff Atmosphere: “It Felt Like We Were Down 20″**

In a revealing interview on Jeff Teague’s Club 520 podcast, Milwaukee Bucks star Damian Lillard opened up about the intense playoff battles he faced against the Golden State Warriors during their dominant years. Despite his reputation as a clutch performer, Lillard admitted feeling overwhelmed by the raucous atmosphere of Oracle Arena.

Lillard described the experience, saying, “We’d be up nine and there would be five minutes left in the third quarter, we go into the fourth quarter down eight. It happens fast. They hit one three, you hear the crowd, see everybody stand up. It felt like we were down 20.”

The Oracle crowd, coupled with the sharp shooting of Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, created a formidable challenge for any opponent. Lillard recalled, “That walk back to the bench was like, ‘Damn.’” The Warriors’ ability to swiftly shift momentum and their crowd’s electrifying energy made every game a struggle.

Despite Lillard’s impressive stats—averaging 27.6 points, 6.5 assists, and 4.5 rebounds over 13 playoff games against the Warriors—he managed just a single win against them. This underscores the Warriors’ dominance and the unique challenges they presented during their peak years.
