The 68-year-old skipper, who has led the Braves to multiple postseason appearances and a World Series championship in 2021, was overseeing drills at the team’s facility when the alarming incident occurred.
According to witnesses, Snitker was walking the field and talking with players when he suddenly appeared to lose his balance and collapsed. Team staff and medical personnel quickly responded, stabilizing him before he was transported to a nearby hospital for further evaluation.
