Atlanta Braves head coach Brian Snitker was rushed to the hospital earlier today after collapsing during a team training session. The 68-year-old skipper, who has led the Braves to multiple postseason appearances and a World Series championship in 2021, was overseeing drills at the team’s facility when the alarming incident occurred.

According to witnesses, Snitker was walking the field and talking with players when he suddenly appeared to lose his balance and collapsed. Team staff and medical personnel quickly responded, stabilizing him before he was transported to a nearby hospital for further evaluation.

Braves officials have yet to release a full statement but confirmed that Snitker was conscious when he left the facility and was undergoing tests. The nature of the medical emergency has not yet been disclosed, but his collapse has left the team and fans deeply concerned.

“We’re all hoping and praying that Brian is okay,” said one of the Braves players, speaking on condition of anonymity. “He’s the heart and soul of this team, and seeing him like that was really scary.”
