The Fijian hooker was urgently taken to the hospital after a sudden collapse, leaving the rugby community in shock.

Fijian rugby was struck by a frightening moment on Thursday as star hooker **Tevita Ikanivere** collapsed during a routine training session. The 24-year-old, who is regarded as one of the country’s top players, was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, sparking widespread concern among teammates, coaches, and fans.

According to witnesses, Ikanivere appeared to be in good spirits throughout the training session with Fiji’s national squad. However, towards the end of practice, he suddenly stumbled and collapsed to the ground, prompting immediate action from medical staff on site.

“It was terrifying,” said one teammate who preferred not to be named. “One minute, Tevita was fine, working hard like always. Then he just went down. We all froze for a moment before the medical team rushed in.”

Ikanivere was quickly transported by ambulance to **Colonial War Memorial Hospital** in Suva, where doctors are closely monitoring his condition.
