TABLE TENNIS COMMUNITY MOURNS THE PASSING OF LEGENDARY PLAYER, WANG LIQIN

BEIJING, CHINA- The world of table tennis is in shock and mourning today as it has been announced that legendary player, Wang Liqin, has passed away at the age of 41.

Wang Liqin, also known as “The King of Defense,” was a dominant force in the sport, winning numerous titles and accolades throughout his career. He was a two-time Olympic champion, a four-time World Champion, and a 12-time World Cup winner.

Born in 1980 in Tianjin, China, Wang Liqin began playing table tennis at the age of 5.
