Barcelona, Spain – In a devastating blow to the world of motorsport, Spanish Grand Prix motorcycle racing sensation Jorge Martín has been forced to announce his retirement from the sport, citing a long-standing injury that has left him unable to continue competing at the highest level.

Martín, who has been a fan favorite in the MotoGP world championships, has been battling a persistent knee injury that has plagued him for several seasons. Despite numerous surgeries and rehabilitation attempts, the 27-year-old rider has been unable to fully recover and has been forced to make the difficult decision to hang up his helmet.
