As the Atlanta Braves gear up for the National League Championship Series, the team has released crucial injury updates regarding several key players. Manager Brian Snitker addressed the media today, providing clarity on the status of star pitcher Max Fried and outfielder Ronald Acuña Jr.
Fried, who has been nursing a mild hamstring strain, is expected to make a full recovery in time for the playoffs. “Max has been progressing well, and we’re optimistic he will be ready to go when the NLCS starts,” Snitker confirmed.
Meanwhile, Acuña Jr. is also on track after dealing with a minor shoulder issue. “Ronald is feeling much better and has already begun light workouts. We’re confident he’ll be back in the lineup for Game 1,” Snitker added.
In addition, the team reported that catcher Travis d’Arnaud is dealing with a minor wrist sprain but should not miss any significant time.
