George Kittle needs to be the 49ers’ key X-factor on Sunday night against the Cowboys.

The 49ers will need George Kittle to step up in a big way in Week 8 as they face the visiting Cowboys.

With a strong possibility that the San Francisco 49ers will be shorthanded at wide receiver, Kittle’s performance could be crucial when they host the 3-3 Dallas Cowboys on Sunday Night Football.

Wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk is out for the season after suffering a severe ACL and MCL injury during the Week 7 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. Fellow wideout Jauan Jennings is also doubtful to play due to a hip injury, as shared by general manager John Lynch on KNBR 680 this week.

To make matters worse, the 49ers might also be without Deebo Samuel, who recently recovered from a bout of pneumonia that had him hospitalized earlier in the week.
