World No.1 Jannik Sinner pulled out of the Paris Masters 2024, citing that he is ‘down with virus’. Sinner was set to play his first-round match on Wednesday, October 30, but withdrew, saying that although he was ‘feeling better’, he was not in great shape physically to participate in the indoor hard-court tournament.
The 23-year-old Sinner last played in the Six Kings Slam in Riyadh, where he won after beating Carlos Alcaraz in the final. Earlier this month, he also defeated the legendary Novak Djokovic in the final to win the Shanghai Masters.
