Chicago Bulls point guard Lonzo Ball has been officially ruled out for the upcoming NBA season as he continues to recover from a lingering knee injury. No Ball, who last played in January 2022, has undergone multiple surgeries in an effort to resolve the persistent pain and mobility issues affecting his left knee.
Despite hopes of a comeback, Bulls management and medical staff have decided it’s best for Ball to focus on a complete recovery rather than rush back to the court. This marks the second consecutive season the 25-year-old has missed, significantly impacting the Bulls’ backcourt depth and their overall game strategy.
Ball expressed his disappointment, saying he remains committed to getting back to full strength. His absence will be a challenge for the Bulls, who will need to rely on other guards and adapt their lineup as they push for a playoff spot in the competitive Eastern Conference.
