The Chicago Bulls have made an exciting addition to their roster, signing 23-year-old European sensation Luka Petrović to a multi-year deal. The Serbian forward, who has been turning heads in the EuroLeague, is expected to bring a fresh dynamic to the Bulls’ lineup.
Petrović, standing 6’8″, gained recognition for his versatile playing style, averaging 18.3 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 4.2 assists per game last season with Partizan Belgrade. His ability to shoot from beyond the arc, combined with his court vision, makes him a promising asset for Chicago as they aim to strengthen their playoff prospects.
The Bulls’ front office praised Petrović’s potential. “Luka is a unique talent with the drive and skillset to thrive in the NBA. We’re thrilled to welcome him to Chicago,” said Bulls General Manager Marc Eversley.
Petrović expressed excitement about the move. “It’s a dream come true to join the Bulls. Growing up, I watched legends like Michael Jordan, and now I have the chance to contribute to this storied franchise,” he said during his introductory press conference.
With Petrović joining a core that includes Zach LaVine and DeMar DeRozan, the Bulls hope to reassert themselves as a dominant force in the Eastern Conference. Fans eagerly await the young star’s NBA debut in the upcoming season.
This signing marks another step in the Bulls’ ongoing efforts to invest in young, international talent as they look to
the future.
