Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott, who underwent season-ending surgery in November 2024 for a hamstring injury, is on track to return for the 2025 NFL season. Prescott suffered the injury during a Week 9 loss to the Atlanta Falcons, later diagnosed as a partial tendon avulsion that required surgical repair.
The 31-year-old signal-caller has expressed confidence in his recovery, stating he plans to participate fully in the team’s organized team activities (OTAs) during the offseason. Prescott emphasized his focus on being in peak condition to lead the Cowboys into the next season without limitations.
With Prescott sidelined, Dallas has turned to backups Cooper Rush and Trey Lance to finish the current season, which has seen the team struggle to maintain playoff contention.
