Miami Hurricanes’ head coach Mario Cristobal has responded to controversy surrounding the team’s loss in the recent bowl game, in which quarterback Cam Ward allegedly quit during the game due to the team’s performance.

According to sources, Cam Ward’s early exit from the game sparked rumors of a player mutiny and a breakdown in team morale.

However, coach Cristobal has now come forward to deny these claims, calling the narrative “a false story.”

“We had an open and honest conversation with Cam after the game,” Cristobal said during a press conference.

“He wanted to take a break to recharge and prepare for the upcoming NFL draft process.

There was no incident or issue that led to his early exit. We respect his decision and are moving forward as a team.”

Coach Cristobal emphasized that the Miami Hurricanes have a strong team dynamic and that the incident was blown out of proportion.

He also expressed his appreciation for Cam Ward’s contributions to the team during the season.

“Cam is a talented player, and we’re going to miss him on the field,” Cristobal said.

“However, we understand his decision to pursue the NFL draft, and we wish him all the best in his future endeavors.”

The Miami Hurricanes are currently gearing up for the upcoming season, and coach Cristobal is focused on building a stronger team for the future.

“We’re excited for the new season and the opportunities that lie ahead,” Cristobal said. “We will continue to work hard and strive for excellence, both on and off the field.”
