Parramatta Eels star Mitchell Moses has been ruled out for the remainder of the 2025 season due to a serious injury. The halfback sustained a ruptured Achilles tendon during a recent match against the Melbourne Storm, and after scans revealed the extent of the damage, it was confirmed that he would require surgery and a lengthy recovery period.

Moses, who has been a pivotal player for the Eels, was instrumental in the team’s attacking play and leadership on the field. His absence will be a significant blow to the Eels as they look to push for a spot in the finals this season.

Head coach Brad Arthur expressed his disappointment, stating that the loss of Moses would be felt across the squad, but emphasized that the team would need to rally together in his absence. The Eels are expected to lean on backup halfbacks and the broader squad to fill the gap left by their star playmaker.

The Parramatta Eels have not yet confirmed the timeline for Moses’ return, but initial estimates suggest he will miss the remainder of the current campaign, with his recovery likely to extend into the 2026 pre-season.
