
Legendary guitarist and former Dire Straits frontman, Mark Knopfler, has officially announced the release of his tenth solo studio album, “One Deep River.” Scheduled for global release on April 12, 2024, the album will be available through his own British Grove label in collaboration with EMI.
“One Deep River” comprises 12 tracks that showcase Knopfler’s signature unhurried and elegant style. The album features contributions from long-time collaborators, including Guy Fletcher, John McCusker, Michael McGoldrick, and Greg Leisz.
In the lead-up to the album’s release, Knopfler has unveiled three singles: “Ahead of the Game” on January 24, “Watch Me Gone” on February 22, and “Two Pairs of Hands” on March 27. Additionally, a behind-the-scenes video released on February 5 offers fans a glimpse into the recording process, highlighting the camaraderie and musicianship that went into the album’s creation.
