FC Dinamo București has announced thedeparture of forward Astrit Selmani, who has transferred to a new club following concerns raised within the local community. The specifics of these concerns have not been publicly disclosed. Selmani’s exit comes after a season marked by challenges, including an underwhelming performance despite scoring goals in select matches.

Selmani’s journey with Dinamo began in February 2024 when he signed from Hapoel Be’er Sheva. He made his debut later that month in a match against CFR Cluj. Throughout his tenure, he contributed to the team’s efforts, notably scoring a goal in an away match against FC Botoșani in April 2024. His performance saw a resurgence in July 2024, where he scored once and provided two assists in a home victory over Petrolul Ploiești, earning the Man of the Match accolade. He continued his form into August 2024, scoring in a win against Gloria Buzău.

The decision to part ways with Selmani underscores FC Dinamo București’s commitment to aligning with community values and expectations. The club has not announced the identity of Selmani’s new team, and further details regarding his transfer are awaited.
