Parramatta Eels head coach Brad Arthur has been rushed to hospital this afternoon following a sudden medical emergency, sources close to the club have confirmed.

Details surrounding the incident remain limited, but it’s understood Arthur experienced a serious health scare during a team meeting at the club’s training facility. Paramedics were called to the scene shortly after 2:30 PM, and Arthur was transported to Westmead Hospital under urgent care.

The Eels released a brief statement saying, “Brad Arthur is currently receiving medical attention and is in the care of professionals. Our thoughts are with Brad and his family at this time. We ask for privacy and patience while more information becomes available.”

Arthur, 50, has been a central figure at the Eels since taking the reins in 2014. His sudden hospitalization has sent shockwaves through the rugby league community, with fans and fellow coaches expressing their support online.
