According to eyewitnesses, the incident occurred just as the band was wrapping up their hit song “Enjoy the Silence.” The performance was immediately halted as medical personnel rushed to the stage. The identity of the band member who collapsed has not yet been officially confirmed, but many fans at the venue reported it was frontman Dave Gahan.
