TABLE TENNIS STAR COLLAPSES IN CHURCH DUE TO SEVERE DEHYDRATION
Shanghai, China, April 15, 2023 – In a shocking incident, Chinese table tennis star, Ma Long, collapsed during a prayer service at a local church in Shanghai, China. The incident occurred when Ma Long, who is considered one of the greatest table tennis players of all time, suffered from severe dehydration and exhaustion.
According to eyewitnesses, Ma Long was attending a prayer service at the Shanghai Catholic Church when he suddenly fell to the ground. The 33-year-old player was rushed to a nearby hospital where he received emergency treatment.
“It was a sudden and unexpected collapse,” said a church official. “We were in the middle of a prayer service when Ma Long suddenly fell to the ground. We immediately called for an ambulance and he was rushed to the hospital.”
The cause of the collapse was attributed to severe dehydration and exhaustion, which is believed to be caused by Ma Long’s intense training schedule leading up to the upcoming World Table Tennis Championships.
“Ma Long has been training intensely for several weeks in preparation for the World Championships,” said his coach. “He has been pushing himself to the limit and has not been taking adequate rest or hydration. We are shocked and concerned about this incident.”
Ma Long’s collapse has sent shockwaves throughout the table tennis community, with fans and fellow players expressing concern for his health.
“We are all shocked and worried about Ma Long’s health,” said Japanese table tennis player, Jun Mizutani. “He is an incredible player and we hope he recovers quickly and fully.”
