World No. 1 Jannik Sinner faces a potentially career-ending doping ban after the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) appealed the International Tennis Integrity Agency’s (ITIA) decision to clear him.
Sinner, 23, admitted to enduring “sleepless nights” as he battles the case, stemming from two positive tests for clostebol in March. The ITIA initially cleared him, accepting that the steroid entered his system through a physiotherapist’s spray.
“This is a very difficult moment for me and my team… I haven’t done anything wrong.” – Jannik Sinner.
