Tyson Fury’s 14-year unbeaten streak came to a stunning end as Oleksandr Usyk seized the undisputed world heavyweight title by split decision in Saudi Arabia. However, sources close to the British star reveal a shocking truth: Fury had been hiding a severe shoulder injury, suffered during training, which severely impacted his performance.

The injury, which could potentially end Fury’s career, left him struggling to maintain his signature jab and movement. Despite his valiant effort, Fury’s weakened state allowed Usyk to capitalize and secure the victory with scores of 115-112, 113-114, 114-113.

Fury’s post-fight comments hinted at the underlying issue: “I believe I won that fight… I’ll be back.” Promoter Frank Warren confirmed an immediate rematch, but the real question looms: can Fury overcome his debilitating injury to reclaim his title?

Usyk, now the undisputed champion at both cruiserweight and heavyweight, remains open to a rematch: “Yeah, of course. I am ready.”

As Fury’s future hangs in the balance, the boxing world waits with bated breath. Will the Gypsy King overcome his career-threatening injury, or will his legendary career come to a premature end?
