Adama Traore and Pep Guardiola were seen having a lengthy talk after Manchester City’s victory over Fulham on Saturday.
The defending champions were soon on the defensive against Marco Silva’s team, and after 26 minutes, Andreas Pereira gave the visitors the lead.
At the Etihad, City regained control thanks to two goals from Mateo Kovacic before the break. In the last moments, Jeremy Doku added a third goal to apparently seal the victory.
Rodrigo Muniz cut the deficit for Fulham, but they would eventually fail to get an equalizer despite their best efforts.
Following the sound of the full-time whistle, Guardiola approached Traore and was observed making impassioned gestures while having a conversation with the former Spain international on the field.
At the Etihad, Traore found himself through on goal twice but missed both of them.
On the field, the City manager seemed to be giving the former Spain international advice.
