Marco Silva confirms latest Fulham team news before Everton clash…

Fulham will again be without key defender Timothy Castagne for their Premier League trip to Everton. Castagne is still recovering from a thigh injury that kept him out of the previous loss to Aston Villa. Manager Marco Silva also confirmed that Joachim Andersen will miss the game due to suspension, while Sasa Lukic remains sidelined for several more weeks as he recovers from a shoulder injury.

Silva discussed the team’s situation on the club’s website, noting: “Joa [Andersen] will be out for just one game, and Lukic is expected to be unavailable for a few more weeks. Timothy [Castagne] is still not fit enough to return as well.”

On a positive note, Jorge Cuenca and Carlos Vinicius are making significant strides in their recoveries from foot and leg injuries, respectively. Their improved conditions could see them back in the squad soon, with Silva stating, “All the other players will be assessed, and we’ll decide who makes the squad, but most are likely to be available.”

Fulham is aiming for a strong response against Everton following consecutive defeats to Manchester City and Aston Villa on either side of the international break. Silva, returning to his former club, emphasized the importance of the match, saying, “We hope to react as a team, improve our performance, and most importantly, get the right result.”

Fulham fans will be hoping for a turnaround as Silva seeks to lead the team back to winning ways at Goodison Park.
