The Pittsburgh Steelers’ playoff hopes have taken a catastrophic hit as linebacker T.J. Watt, a cornerstone of their defense, has reportedly suffered a season-ending injury. Following an intense week of speculation after Watt exited Sunday’s game with a grim look, MRI results have confirmed the franchise’s worst fears: Watt’s injury will require immediate surgery, putting him out for the remainder of the 2024 season.
