A 36-year-old woman has tragically died following a severe traffic collision, prompting police to issue an urgent appeal for witnesses.
The accident occurred on a very bad state and the Emergency services were quickly on the scene, but despite their best efforts, the woman was pronounced dead at the site.
Authorities are now working to determine the cause of the crash and are calling for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has dashcam footage from the area around the time of the collision to come forward.
A spokesperson for the local police said: “This is a heartbreaking incident, and our thoughts are with the victim’s family and friends during this incredibly difficult time. We urge anyone who saw the collision or has relevant information to contact us as soon as possible.”
The road was closed for several hours following the incident to allow for a thorough investigation, causing significant delays in the area.
