In a candid appearance on ESPN’s *First Take*, legendary rapper and die-hard Lakers fan Snoop Dogg didn’t mince words about the team’s struggles this season. From LeBron James’s recent shooting woes to the lack of roster changes, Snoop voiced what many fans have been feeling.
“The Lakers can’t run it back with the same roster they had last year,” Snoop declared. “We need new energy, new players, and a stronger supporting cast around LeBron.”
With the Lakers losing seven of their last ten games and LeBron temporarily stepping away from the team for personal reasons, frustrations are mounting. Snoop also acknowledged LeBron’s age and the physical toll of years as a dominant player, saying, “I’m an old man too. I get it.”
The Lakers, currently out of playoff contention, face mounting pressure to revitalize their lineup and return to championship form. “LeBron has done so much for this team, but we can’t rely on him alone. The organization needs to step up and make the right moves,” Snoop added.
The outspoken critique reflects a growing sentiment among Lakers fans, who hope the team can turn their season around before it’s too late.
