Golden State Warriors have officially suspended forward Draymond Green following a bizarre controversy involving his jersey number. According to team officials, Green has been disciplined for what’s being described as “banning his own numbers” — a symbolic gesture that reportedly disrupted team unity and operations.

Sources close to the team say Green removed all references to his jersey number from team materials, practice gear, and even his locker, in protest of what he called a “numerical curse.” The incident escalated internally before the organization decided to take disciplinary action.

Warriors Head Coach Steve Kerr addressed the media briefly, stating, “We’ve always supported Draymond’s passion, but this situation required us to step in for the good of the team.”

The suspension is indefinite as of now, and the Warriors have not commented on when Green may return to the lineup.

This is the latest in a series of headline-making events involving Green, who is no stranger to controversy both on and off the court.

More details to come as the story develops.
