The Parramatta Eels have made the decision to bench star halfback Mitchell Moses for their upcoming match against the St George Illawarra Dragons. This decision comes as Moses continues to recover from a foot injury he sustained earlier in the season. Although he has been progressing well and is expected to return to play by Round 9, the coaching staff has opted to rest him for this match to ensure he is fully fit for future games

In addition to Moses, the Eels are also managing other injuries within the squad. Jack Williams, who is recovering from knee surgery, is also expected to return around the same time as Moses. Meanwhile, several players, including Joey Lussick and Bryce Cartwright, are dealing with their own injury issues but are on track for returns in the coming weeks

The Eels will be looking to secure a win against the Dragons, and the absence of Moses will be a significant factor as they adjust their game plan without their key playmaker.
