Bad news hits FCSB just ahead of a crucial stretch of fixtures — **Denis Alibec**, the experienced forward recently signed to boost the club’s attacking options, has been ruled out for at least **six upcoming matches** due to a **serious ankle injury**.

The injury occurred during FCSB’s last match, where Alibec was forced to leave the field early in the first half after a heavy challenge. Medical examinations have since confirmed a **moderate ankle sprain**, with ligament damage that will sideline him for several weeks.

Club doctors estimate a recovery period of **4–6 weeks**, depending on his response to treatment and rehabilitation. This absence will see Alibec miss key league fixtures as well as potential European qualifiers.

FCSB coach Elias Charalambous expressed his disappointment, saying: *“Denis is a key figure for our system. His absence is a blow, but we trust the squad to respond.”*

This injury comes as a major setback for both the player — eager to regain form and consistency — and the club, which is eyeing domestic glory and European progression.

More updates will follow as Alibec begins treatment and recovery.
