Perth, July 2, 2025 — What was meant to be a thrilling finale to UK rapper Central Cee’s world tour turned into a nightmare for concertgoers at Perth’s RAC Arena when a violent altercation broke out in the crowd.
In a shocking scene caught on video by several fans, a 17-year-old male allegedly launched an unprovoked attack on a man and woman during the performance. Witnesses say the teen punched both victims repeatedly for nearly two minutes, leaving them with visible bruising and shaken by the ordeal.
Security intervened swiftly, detaining the assailant until local police arrived. He was later charged with assault, and investigations are ongoing.
Fans took to social media to express their concern and disbelief, with many calling the incident “disturbing” and “completely out of place for the atmosphere.”
Central Cee, who was unaware of the assault during the show, has not yet released an official statement. The artist had just wrapped his “Can’t Rush Greatness” World Tour, which spanned 42 cities globally.
This incident has reignited concerns about crowd safety at large-scale concerts, especially as tensions continue to rise in post-pandemic live events.
