The fan vote for the NBA All-Star Game in 2024 has now finished for a second week. Superstars LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers and Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks led the way as the top vote-getters in the Western and Eastern Conferences, respectively, much like the previous voting results. On Thursday, the league formally released the most recent results of the All-Star voting.

With the Bucks, Giannis has been having an incredible season. Antetokounmpo, who has only missed one game this season, has helped Milwaukee finish with a 25-12 record while averaging 31.4 points, 11.5 rebounds, and 5.9 assists per contest. In Indianapolis, Antetokounmpo will be participating in his ninth straight All-Star game.

LeBron has been attempting to maintain things in Los Angeles. The Lakers are currently 19-19 on the season as they have battled to find their footing since the NBA In-Season Tournament. James has averaged 25.1 points, 7.5 assists, and 7.2 rebounds per game across his 35 games played. James is also shooting 39.7 percent from beyond the arc, which is his best three-point shooting percentage since he played for the Miami Heat in 2012–13. Not to mention, that season LeBron took home the MVP title from the league.

Jokic rose from No. 3 to No. 2 in the West frontcourt rankings, surpassing forward Kevin Durant of the Phoenix Suns. This decision is the most noteworthy alteration in the fan vote, even though both players are anticipated to be chosen All-Stars.

Along with the typical All-Stars stated above, the fan voting continues to see other young players who are seeking to make their first All-Star appearance earn recognition. Three developing players in the Eastern Conference—Paolo Banchero, Tyrese Maxey, and Jalen Brunson—as well as newcomers Victor Wembanyama and Chet Holmgren lead this list of probable first-year All-players.

50% of the vote to determine the starting All-Star player for the NBA All-Star Game in 2024 will come from public voting. The remaining fifty percent is divided, with twenty-five percent going to a media panel and twenty-five percent going to NBA players. Luka Doncic, Stephen Curry, LeBron James, Kevin Durant, and Nikola Jokic seem to be the most likely Western starters, according to the results of the most recent fan voting. Tyrese Haliburton, Trae Young, Jayson Tatum, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Joel Embiid are the East’s top candidates to be chosen the All-Star starters, according to fan voting.

The NBA will make the final wave of voting results public on Monday, January 18. On Thursday, January 25, during TNT’s NBA Tip-Off, the official starters for the 2024 NBA All-Star Game will be revealed live. A week later, on Thursday, February 1, the All-Star reserves will be revealed.
