The Philadelphia Eagles revealed bad news on star wide receiver A.J. Brown on their first day of practice this week as they prepare to play the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the Wild Card round. Brown injured his knee against the New York Giants in Week 18.

Following the game, the Eagles stated that Brown’s injury was not significant. Before missing the Eagles’ crucial game against the Giants last week, wide receiver DeVonta Smith suffered an ankle injury, but head coach Nick Sirianni stated it wasn’t a concern.

The Eagles injury report states that Smith participated fully in practice on Thursday. Brown did not take part in the exercise.
On Thursday, Jalen Hurts was categorized as a limited participant. No A.J. Brown.

The NFL world interpreted the Eagles report as a bad indication of Brown’s status against the Buccaneers Monday night.

Three of the Eagles’ offensive players are on the injury report this week. Smith appears to be in the best shape after Thursday’s first practice of the week. Quarterback Jalen Hurts had a glove on his injured throwing hand at practice. Thursday was the first time Hurts had thrown a football since the Giants game.
