Following a strong performance against the Los Angeles Clippers last night, the Memphis Grizzlies face the New York Knicks 24 hours later. They’ll also have to do it with very little help.
The Memphis Grizzlies’ injury report includes eight players: Steven Adams, Santi Aldama, Desmond Bane, Brandon Clarke, Ja Morant, Derrick Rose, Jaren Jackson Jr., and Marcus Smart. All of these players have been ruled out with the exception of Jackson, who is listed as doubtful due to a right knee contusion.
The New York Knicks’ injury report includes four players: Jalen Brunson, JacoMitchell Robinson, b Toppin, and Duane Washington Jr. Jalen Brunson is questionable with a left calf contusion, Mitchell Robinson is out for left ankle surgery, and Jacob Toppin
While the Grizzlies have played inspired basketball since Ja Morant’s devastating injury, the talent gap has recently become too large. Going up against the New York Knicks right after facing the Los Angeles Clippers will be a daunting task for this team. Not to mention that Desmond Bane suffered an injury during the Clippers game last night. Nonetheless, this team consistently finds a way to compete.
