The Philadelphia Eagles are apparently thinking about firing head coach Nick Sirianni, despite the fact that the team has won 34 games, qualified for the postseason each year, and appeared in the Super Bowl the previous season.

Tim McManus of ESPN claims that the Eagles are “in play” to let go of Sirianni this offseason. On Monday at 8 p.m. EST, the Eagles and the Bucs will play in the NFC Wild Card round.

On the Philly Special podcast, McManus stated, “Believing what I’m seeing with my eyes, this thing has fallen apart on the head coach and there’s some rot going on right now, so it’s a hard one to pin.”
There is a chance that they will decide to move on from Nick Sirianni. I feel like it’s in play, even if I don’t want to say that’s the most likely scenario.
Although the Eagles finished the season with a strong 11-6 record, the fact that they started the season 10-1 and failed to win 12 games indicates that things have gone wrong for the reigning NFC champions.

The Eagles’ head coaching search would lag behind the rest of the market if they fired Sirianni because all seven of the other positions are held by teams who did not make the playoffs this season.
Sirianni’s Birds are favored by three points over Baker Mayfield and the 9–8 Bucs, who won the NFC South for the third consecutive year despite losing Tom Brady to retirement, despite the fact that they have lost five of their previous six games and are traveling.
Sirianni not only led a winning offense in his three seasons as head coach but also transformed Jalen Hurts from a misguided question mark into an All-Pro second-team player and Pro Bowler.

Should Sirianni hit the coaching market, he’d undoubtedly be one of the most sought after candidates.
