Just over a week after signing 15 players to reserve/future contracts, the Las Vegas Raiders announced on Tuesday that they have signed three more players to said deals. The club signed guard Ben Brown, safety Tyreque Jones, and running back Tyreik McAllister to reserve/future contracts. Brown was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Cincinnati Bengals in 2022 before the club waived him that August. Just two days later, he was signed by the Seattle Seahawks.

After redshirting his freshman season, the 25-year-old played just one game for the Seattle Seahawks in 2023, totaling just eight offensive snaps and seven special teams snaps. The Seahawks released Brown in November, and he was signed to the Arizona Cardinals’ practice squad on January 1st, without being signed to a reserve/future contract. Brown played four years at the University of Mississippi, where he became known as one of the best centers in the country after switching from guard to center. However, Brown’s collegiate career was cut short when he tore his biceps midway through his final season, which caused his draft stock to plummet and ultimately prevented him from being selected.

The Tennessee Titans signed Jones, another undrafted free agent, in May of last year. He was brought to the practice squad by the New York Jets after being waived as part of the August roster cuts. He was picked up two days later. Jones was released by New York in October. Jones was added to the practice squad of the Indianapolis Colts in less than a week. Jones attended Boise State University for six years, where he finished his college career with two All-Mountain West Honorable Mention selections.

McAllister was a free agent who was not selected. The Denver Broncos signed him in 2022. McAllister was let go in May of last year without ever having the chance to play a game for Denver. McAllister participated in 16 games for the CFL’s Hamilton Tiger-Cats last season. 364 receiving yards, two receiving touchdowns, and 1,037 rushing yards were all tallied by him. The youthful running back was a member of the University of Charleston team for five seasons. The NFL Scouting Combine will take place at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana, from February 27 to March 4, 2024.
