he Florida State Seminoles are hoping that 2024 can end in a College Football Playoff appearance. In the past week, they have landed a lot of talent from the transfer portal. After landing former LSU wide receiver Jalen Brown yesterday, the Seminoles got former Alabama wide receiver Malik Benson to commit to the program.

Benson did not see the field much in 2023 thanks to the glut of talent at the wide receiver position. He did tally 13 receptions for 162 yards and a touchdown this season but is looking for a larger role. Benson came to Alabama as a JUCO transfer from Hutchinson Community College. In the two years at Hutchinson, he caught 77 passes for 2,152 yards and 21 touchdowns. The Seminoles have been known to develop wide receivers well and the team now has plenty of options available on offense.

The Seminoles have reloaded well. They landed quarterback DJ Uiagalelei from Oregon State who was one of the top quarterbacks in the portal. They have continued to add offensive weapons to make sure they can stay on top of the ACC. Their biggest threat might be Louisville again which currently has one of the top transfer portal classes in the nation. Still, the Seminoles are likely to go into 2024 as the favorites for the conference.
