Daniel Farke is yet to make a move during the window, but has allowed two senior players to leave Elland Road this month.

Djed Spence returned to parent club Tottenham Hotspur having made just seven appearances in West Yorkshire, while Luke Ayling was allowed to join Middlesbrough on loan for the remainder of the season. 19-year-old Darko Gyabi was also sent out on loan to Plymouth Argyle and Lewis Bate is another youngster to have left.

The Whites have been linked with several players during the course of the window,

Reds defender Nat Phillips has been linked with a move to Elland Road, following the end of his loan spell with Scottish champions, Celtic.

According to the Daily Mail, Leeds are reportedly keeping an eye on the 26-year-old to bolster their defensive options, but face competition from both Blackburn Rovers and Cardiff City.

Leeds were linked with a move for the defender in the summer window. It was claimed back in August that the Whites were in talks with Liverpool over a move, but that never materialised.

Instead, he joined Celtic on loan but played just eight times, causing Liverpool to recall him back to Anfield when the January transfer window opened.

While a centre back is not at the top of Farke’s wishlist, Phillips would provide great pedigree and be an astute signing for this level.

The Bolton-born defender played a key part in Bournemouth’s return to the Premier League during the 2021/22 Championship season, featuring 17 times after his move in January and playing 90 minutes in every match.
