The Tennessee Titans have been on the lookout for a new head coach after firing their former coach Mike Vrabel. Vrabel has been on the look for another job and has interviewed with the Los Angeles Chargers and the Atlanta Falcons so far, but has not signed with a team just yet. However, his old team has decided to sign their next head coach as of today, and Titans fans are not going to be happy with the result

Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Vrabel heads to the field as the team gets ready to face the New Orleans Saints at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, La., Sunday, Sept. 10, 2023.

The Titans are signing former Cincinnati Bengals offensive coordinator Brian Callahan to be their next head coach. Callahan had his second interview with Tennessee today, and the team did not let him leave without a new contract. Callahan has been viewed as a “good candidate” amongst NFL analysts, however, many fans think that he will not have success as a head coach, as he had struggles with the Bengals this season.

Many Titans fans are calling this signing a “downgrade” from Vrabel, and that the organization does not have the best interests of fans because of the hire. Bengals fans are also criticizing Callahan for the offensive struggles the team had this year, even with the injury to quarterback Joe Burrow.
