Observations
On social media, Scott Huff is now formally recognized as an Alabama coach.

He was one of the offensive assistants whom Kalen DeBoer brought to the Crimson Tide from the University of Washington. Huff, a native of Phoenix, Arizona, worked as an offensive line coach and run game coordinator for the previous seven seasons (2017–23).

A 1,000+ yard rushing back (Dillon Johnson), a 4,000+ yard quarterback (Michael Penix Jr.), and two 1,000+ yard receivers (Rome Odunze and Ja’Lynn Polk) were all made possible by Huff’s offensive unit’s blocking. As the starting quarterback for the Huskies in 2022, Penix was only sacked 11 times in the previous season and five times in 2022. The Crimson Tide’s offensive line will be returning to its peak under Huff.
