Kliff Kingsbury, a former head coach of the Arizona Cardinals, has joined the Washington Commanders as their offensive coordinator. Kingsbury eventually decided to sign with the Commanders, even though it is said that he turned down a position with the Las Vegas Raiders.

Many NFL fans were taken aback by Kingsbury’s choice, particularly those who root for the Bears. In the 2024 draft, the Bears are slated to select first overall. Many Bears supporters want the team to choose USC quarterback Caleb Williams with this pick. The Washington Commanders, who own the #2 pick, are reportedly attempting to trade up to the #1 spot in order to draft Williams. The fact that the Commanders recently hired Kingsbury, Williams’s previous college coach, and think he may be a generational quarterback for their team, is what spurred them to take this action.
