Over the weekend, Tennessee hosted a successful junior day, drawing in a large number of prospective students and commits who visited the campus. Running back Justin Baker from Buford was one of the commits who managed to make it to college.

Since October 2023, Baker has made the Vols his home team. He took the time to go over everything with Volunteer Country after his trip to Tennessee. Overall, the experience was excellent. I spent a great deal of time in various capacities with the coaches. I spent a lot of time talking to Coach [Jerry] Mack, and his main advice to me was to always be hungry,” Baker said. When asked if he had had an opportunity to socialize with any other commits, he replied that he had. “Yes, I spent a lot of time with Tyler Redmond and Dylan Lewis on the visit.” With five talented pledges, the 2025 class is already off to a strong start. With the Vols in on so many elite targets, the possibilities in the 2025 class are virtually endless. This class has the potential to surpass the exceptionally gifted class that came before it, in my opinion. George will be drawn to more gifted players, especially at quarterback, the gifted commit running back said. When asked what part of his recruitment and dedication to the Tennessee Volunteers most impressed him, the gifted running back said, “Definitely the family-centered atmosphere; I can tell their goal is to build up the whole athlete in every aspect of their life, not just on the field.” The Volunteers benefited greatly from Baker’s return to campus because, despite his commitment, they can still develop their relationship with the gifted prospect, which is essential to keeping your people in the boat.
