QB Reese said a loud and enthusiastic “Roll Tide” as he put pen to paper, announcing his official membership in the Alabama football program.

During a ceremony held at Birmingham’s Ramsay High School on Wednesday morning, the three-star Ramsay linebacker officially joined the Crimson Tide.

Reese signed with his high school teammates during the early signing period, despite having made his commitment to the Crimson Tide official since September.

Reese stated, “I wanted to take pleasure in the process and definitely wanted to sign at the same time with my teammates.” “Those guys are my family; without them, I wouldn’t be in this position.”

Reese maintained a strong commitment to the Crimson Tide and ended his recruiting after meeting with new Alabama coach Kalen DeBoer during an official visit to Alabama, despite the abrupt retirement of former Alabama coach Nick Saban.

Reese remarked, “He made it feel like home, like coach Saban never left.” He assembled a fantastic defense team that treated us all like family. The culture endures and is appropriate.

Reese started for the Rams for three seasons and received this past season’s ASWA Class 5A Lineman of the Year. Upon finishing his career with almost 300 tackles, he holds the 40th position in the 247 composite rankings of the state’s best seniors.

Reese, who stands six feet five inches and weighs 205 pounds, is anticipated to enroll at Alabama in the summer along with incoming freshmen linebackers Cayden Jones of Arden, North Carolina, Justin Okoronkwo of Munich, Germany, and Sterling Dixon of Spanish Fort.

We’re going to take home a national title, Reese declared. “Adding more workers doesn’t make that different. The Alabama standard still applies.

Nine other Ramsay players signed with collegiate teams: Cam Carson (Miles), Jacob Andrews (Miles), JaQuille Malone (Tuskegee), Demarcus Wynn (Tuskegee), Fletcher Taylor (West Alabama), J’Marcus Jones (Central Arkansas), Ashton Ashford (Alabama State), DyLan Robinson (Alabama A&M), and Noah Sanders (UAB).
