Galatasaray and Celtic are currently discussing the terms of a potential trade, since the Turkish transfer window is likely to close in less than 48 hours.
According to the report, Istanbul is thinking of making an offer of about €15 million for the player, who is considered a “star” at Celtic Park, even if they are aware that they will have to pay a “high price” to acquire him.

With little time to work out the terms, it appears Celtic will have to decide whether to accept this offer now or wait until the conclusion of the season to hear from Galatasaray again.

With 10 goals and twelve assists in 32 games this season, O’Riley has been a vital member of the Hoops, so it would be understandable that they would be apprehensive during negotiations, particularly since they are now without a successor.

Galatasaray ‘will try to sign’ Matt O’Riley from Celtic and frustrate Brendan Rodgers, according to the latest reports.

Haber Meydan today writes that the Turkish side came up with this ‘surprise name’ to be landed in the next couple of days.

It’s said manager Okan Buruk and his scout team ‘want very much’ to get O’Riley signed, whether it be now or at the end of the season, and feel ‘an offer should be made’
