Jamie Vardy’s longtime teammate Marc Albrighton thinks the Leicester City talisman has the stamina and drive for at least one more season at the club, despite the optimistic chants of “ten more years” for him. As Vardy approaches the last few months of his City contract, the club is about to say goodbye to perhaps its best player ever in an emotional farewell. However, that can alter if he receives fresh offer. Despite facing competition from three players in their 20s for playing time up front, Vardy, who is 37 years old, is still making an impression on the team. This season, he is tied for the club’s top scorer in all competitions with Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Stephy Mavididi, scoring 10 goals.

In the event that Vardy, 37, is not given new terms, he will have to say an emotional goodbye to the King Power Stadium during the last few months of his contract.

Vardy has entered the game in each of the last two, and City supporters have voiced their opinions. They aren’t prepared for the number nine’s tenure at King Power Stadium to come to an end.
