Callum O’Hare’s absence from Plymouth was addressed by Mark Robins, who disclosed that the Coventry City forward needed a much-needed break. The Sky Blues manager acknowledged that the player wasn’t happy about the choice, though, and that he was eager to visit Home Park and participate.

Following the 2-2 tie at Home Park, the City manager stated, “He’s gone from 0 to 100 miles per hour after 12 months (out injured) and it was always going to catch up with him.” He’s a little sore, and since I couldn’t have started him, it wasn’t fair to put him on a bus for ten hours and ask him to play for twenty minutes. Thus, I’m hoping the rest works well for him.

“He was really disappointed, angry, and disappointed that he was unable to attend, but in the end, the right choice was made, and hopefully Saturday will prove beneficial.”
