The December 1-0 loss to Rangers in the League Cup meant that the Dons were eliminated as finalists for the third time in eight years. Since then, Barry Robson has lost his managerial position, and Neil Warnock has taken on his first-ever temporary position in Scotland through the end of the current campaign.

In his first game in command, the 75-year-old was defeated 2-1 by Rangers; however, Aberdeen recovered to advance to the FA Cup quarterfinals by defeating Bonnyrigg Rose 2-0. Warnock’s team rallied from a three-goal deficit against Motherwell at home on Wednesday night to earn a 3-3 draw.

Stefan Gartenmann had pulled a pivotal one for each team, so Duk and Theo Bair shared braces.
