Since Liel Abada is still not ready to play, Brendan Rodgers acknowledges that the winger’s long-term future may not be with Celtic.Rodgers gave the Israeli star time off, but he was not included in the team for the Scottish Cup victory against St Mirren last Saturday. Abada wasn’t in the correct state of mind to wear the jersey because he is still dealing with the situation in Israel, the head coach of the Houston Rockets subsequently disclosed.Additionally, Rodgers stated that the 22-year-old will not be playing in tomorrow’s Premiership match against Kilmarnock. The player has been under intense pressure from his home country to leave the Scottish champions since some members of the fan base have expressed support for Palestine.                                                                                                                        “Yes, I really understand his problem; it goes beyond football and affects him on a human level,” he remarked. That’s something I have to honor. He’s working hard and training, but this phase is all mental, so if you’re not quite ready or right, I can’t take any chances with the player because we’ll always be there to help, but we also need to safeguard the team.
