All teams are currently in full swing of their offseason. The Chicago Bears are one of those teams. To improve upon a club that won seven games in 2023, there is a lot of work to be done. Along with not one, but two, top ten choices, general manager Ryan Poles enters the offseason with roughly $49.1 million in salary cap flexibility (which will probably be considerably more when the new league year starts in March).
Naturally, the number one overall pick is among those ten spots. The number one overall pick is unbelievable in its value, but the number nine pick is also rather significant. Poles can rise to great heights in a few different ways. He could trade the choice first. That will net him a sizable sum,

Poles has always said that he intends to use the draft to bolster the team’s squad. That implies that the Bears may have a talented roster under their management for some time. In addition, they can grow together, and if all goes well, the Chicago Bears will have a formidable squad.
Secondly, the selection may be retained by Poles and applied to USC quarterback Caleb Williams. Williams is hailed by many in the media as a “generational” talent. There is a lot of excitement around him because he won the Heisman Trophy in 2022.
